From Science to Medicine

It's time to stop wondering and start learning. Begin your medical journey here by learning from Emory physicians and fellows to jumpstart your career in medicine. This intensive three-week summer program fully immerses high school students in the foundational sciences and the essential realities of clinical concepts and patient care. You won't just study—you'll transition from theoretical knowledge to the practice of medicine, gaining insight into what success truly demands.

Our specialized "From Science to Medicine" curriculum teaches you to think like an Emory Pre-Med student at Emory College, a premier liberal arts university. Get the Emory edge, acquire the essential skills, and confidently prepare for a rewarding future as an aspiring healthcare professional.

The Emory Pre-Med Institute is designed to

Residential Life & Campus Experience

Enrolled students will live in designated on-campus residence halls (a commuter option is available), supervised by trained Residential Advisors (RAs) who are current Emory students. The RAs will facilitate a supportive and engaging community environment. Students will have access to campus facilities, including dining halls, libraries, and recreational centers, allowing them to fully experience the university's vibrant atmosphere.
