Dr. Isaiah Rolle

Dr. Isaiah Rolle is a native of Harlem, New York City, who completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at HBCU Oakwood University. His research fellowships in neuroscience at both the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the Mayo Clinic propelled his career into neuroscience and neurology. Dr. Rolle is the first African American to earn a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati, where his dissertation established the inaugural link between abnormal hippocampal granule cells and the pathogenesis of epilepsy.
Driven by a passion for translating research into patient care, Isaiah pursued his Osteopathic Medical D.O. degree at Ohio University and completed his medicine internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Following this, he completed his Neurology residency at Emory University, where he served as Chief Neurology Resident. Dr. Rolle finished his training with a fellowship in Vascular Neurology and currently works as a Stroke Neurologist at Grady Memorial Hospital and as a Neurohospitalist at multiple Emory community hospitals. Dr. Rolle believes patient education to be essential to effective patient care, posting social media content on neurology topics, and frequently conducts community talks on health education and disease prevention at local churches and community centers.
Dr. Rolle has actively engaged in student mentorship, classroom, and bedside teaching. He is a clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology and serves as the Associate Program Director of the Neurology Residency Program. As a first-generation physician-scientist with a background in neuroscience research and a commitment to mentorship, Dr. Rolle is dedicated to fostering the clinical development of future generations of socially conscious physicians.
Dr. Rolle's most valued commitment is to his wife and family, being a super girl dad to his three daughters.
Dr. Brandon Dixon

Dr. Brandon Joseph Dixon is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Dixon earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from Oakwood University and obtained a doctoral degree in Physiology from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He also received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Morehouse School of Medicine.
Dr. Dixon has authored over 25 peer-reviewed publications in the fields of stroke and cardiovascular disease and has presented numerous abstracts and oral presentations nationwide. He is the recipient of multiple honors, including the President’s Award—the highest distinction awarded by Loma Linda School of Medicine—and induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of his compassionate patient care during medical school. He is deeply committed to addressing health disparities and advocating for medically underserved communities of color.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong interest and passion for teaching, including mentorship of undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate mentees in the medical and basic science research fields. He was most recently honored during the 2025 Educator Appreciation Day at Emory School of Medicine. Dr. Dixon teaches with enthusiasm and always seeks to bring learners a wonderful experience.
In his spare time away from medicine, Dr. Dixon enjoys spending quality time with his amazing wife and daughter. He values travel, podcasts, new restaurants, and all things sports. He is an avid basketball fan, an electric-car enthusiast, and a proud weekend exercise warrior.
