About Pre-College Program

Since 2009, the Emory Pre-College Program, a summer academic program, provides high-school rising juniors and seniors with aspirations to pursue college an exciting glimpse into the academic and residential life offered at a top-ranked national university.

High-School students are enrolled in classes taught by Emory professors who are leading experts in their respective fields. Enrolled students live together in on-campus residence halls and participate in various programs and activities designed to prepare them for college life. At Emory’s beautiful tree-lined campus, students from across the U.S. and the world will develop essential academic and interpersonal skills while making lifelong friends.

High school students will select from various academic topics for two or six weeks. With over 30+ two-week noncredit courses available, students can enroll in classes with their high school peers. Students wishing to earn credit alongside Emory undergraduates and transferable college credit will enroll in a six-week course through Emory Summer College.
