Course Objectives

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
 
  1. Write a complete poem using imagery, figurative language, and poetic techniques.
  2. Write a complete short story with a clear beginning, middle, and ending, including developed characters and dialogue.
  3. Revise their writing by incorporating feedback and working on multiple drafts to improve their work.
  4. Provide constructive peer feedback to classmates during workshops and classroom discussions.
  5. Develop critical thinking skills about writing choices and their impact on readers.
