Biological Foundations of Medicine

Course Overview

So, are you curious about medicine/healthcare and think you want to be a doctor? This course is your launchpad.

Designed for curious, driven students who love asking why and how, this interactive class brings the science behind medicine to life. We will move from understanding how cells communicate to how the immune system defends the body and how physicians diagnose and treat disease, all while examining clinical case studies, interpreting simulated patient data, exploring drug mechanisms at the molecular level, analyzing disease pathways, practicing medical decision-making, and even interviewing a physician.
