Communication and Public Speaking Through Acting

Course Overview

No matter your area of interest or the field you go into, you're going to need to communicate with others, but no one really teaches us HOW to communicate. In this class we’ll break down barriers of public speaking to become clearer communicators. We’ll start with the basic skills of diaphragmatic breath, articulation, and what the heck we do with our hands! Then we’ll apply what we learned to potential college assignments like presentations and speeches. This class is hands on and activity-based. Participation is required.
