2010 PCP participant Enrique Aguilar talks about his experience in The Schuler Quarterly:
"Last summer I had the opportunity to attend Emory for two weeks as a part of the Schuler summer college program. After landing in the Atlanta airport I found my group and within minutes I felt a connection with everyone. Every event from them on was unforgettable. Emory has a beautiful campus and amazing professors. Not only did I gain knowledge, but I also grew as an individual. My Psychology and Current Fiction class taught me to read in between the lines, whereas the experience as a whole taught me to be more open and make my own decisions.
"Every night on the campus presented an opportunity to explore Atlanta and get to know my new friends who came from all parts of the country. In only two weeks time I felt as though I had a second family. From the Georgia Aquarium to a Braves game, each experience broadened my horizons and presented opportunities I would never otherwise have been able to take advantage of. I am truly thankful for this experience because I got a taste of what college life is like. Now I know what to look for in a college and what questions to ask when I am on college visits."
